Language courses (other than English)
CLC offers language courses taught by native speakers, who have years of experience in teaching. Their teaching methods follow modern, interactive guidelines that are much more interesting and fun than just listening to the instructor's lecture. Most courses focus on developing basic communication skills or improving existing skills, and they are very practical. The number of students in a course is limited to six, sometimes eight. It is possible to apply for mini-group as well: if you have friends or colleagues who also want to learn a language, you can form mini-groups (2 or 3 people), and pick a time and frequency when you want to have class. CLC will try to accommodate your schedule.

For the language & culture enthusiasts:
Korean
This Asian language is apparently closer to Japanese than to Chinese in terms of its grammar structure and logic. However, Korean had borrowed many words from Chinese in the past and first used Chinese characters in its writing, thus the vocabulary is perhaps more similar to its western neighbour. Today Korean has its own writing system, Hangul, developed in the 15th century, unique in the world.
This course will introduce the participants to basic Korean: its writing system, pronunciation and some communication essentials. Take this course to see how much language reveals about the culture and the people!
Tuition: $280 (2 hr-class/week, 10 weeks)
Starts when class has at least 4 students. Indicate your interest here!

This practical,
interactive course is open to anyone who wants to start learning
